ANTICORROSION ELECTRONIC SYSTEM

Anti-Corrosion Electronic System (ACES), also called Electronic Anode Rod, offers active anti-corrosion protection for hot water heaters by means of electric current. The system adapts itself to changes in the inner surface layer condition and water quality using automatic regulation of electric current.

The classic and widespread protection system for water heaters and storage tanks is composed of an internal tank coating in conjunction with the use of magnesium anodes.

Limitations of the classic protection system:
1) Passive protection with an internal coating is unreliable because flaws in the coating impair the effectiveness of protection, even if they are within the maximum limit permitted by DIN 4753 part 3

2) ACES does not require any maintenance and periodic services leading to high overheads for the end user.
3) Studies performed in major European universities have shown that ACES Titanium Anode prevents the development of Legionella bacteria with the associated serious infection and health risks.
