Magnesium Anode
Anode is a magnesium rod [normally of Φ22x30mm] and actually represents the complete protection of the system from electrolysis. It is a protection method against the corrosion of metals that come into contact with corrosive materials, such as water. The full protection is achieved with the addition of the appropriate material, magnesium anode, which is eroded in the place of the protected metals. The use of the German magnesium anode is the most appropriate method for the protection of the watering-heating and solar installations in terms of both technology and hygiene.
WARNING: In order to maintain the maximum efficiency of the solar water-heating, magnesium rod should be replaced every 2 years.
